Removing AD under Recovery mode

Hi all

I am wondering of of is possible to force removal of the the AD from
SBS2000 started in Directory Recovery Mode, using NTDSUTIL, then
rebuild a new one? It is a stand alone machine It might be my last
resort short of rebuilding a test server with 187 apps...
