Do you know of a specific reason _not_ to do it? Other than it's
irreversible, of course? I ask primarily because I've done it on my box and
haven't seen any issues yet, but wonder if I'm missing something.

Hi Steve
A fresh install of SBS 2003 with SP1 and R2 beta RTM is at Windows 2000
Native Mode by default. I see no reason to raise the level. The Exchange
server is in Mixed mode by default and a change to native is irreversible
and I would not change that either.
I am new to SBS but have experience and have performed this procedure on
the
standard enterprise products.
Here is what I am trying to find out about SBS - I have an SBS2003 server
that was upgraded from SBS2000 it is currently at Windows 2000 Native
Mode for the domain. Can I raise it to Windows Server 2003 functional
mode without any ill effects?
It seems like I should be able to but I am finding that things are
different
with SBS. Also, here seems to be a lot of 2000 stuff left over in it (as
usually happens from upgrades) and I don't want to cause any problems.
Also, I would like to know the same for the Exchange org level.
Thanks in advance for any help.
