Re: Adding several dedicated ADSL connections for teleworkers and branch offices

That should work. I would add one server as RRAS running on multihomed computer.

Essentially the bandwidth for our SBS2000 is too low and we are in such a
remote location where it isnt currently possible to upgrade beyond 256kbps
upstream and 128kbps downstream. The size of the business has grown to
such a point that it is not possible to operate on a single DSL line. We
now have 30+ remote users trying to access the Terminal Server from Branch
Offices and Teleworkers.

I don't want to go down the road of Bonded ADSL or Load Balancing - I'm
still a rookie as far as SBS and networking is concerned and I find the
hardware required for bonded ADSL far too complex!

What I propose is to stay with a single ADSL connection for my Head Office
user to access the internet and send/receive email. This has worked fine in
the past and should continue to do so.

I will also add 3 more ADSL connections (3 new telephone line and 3 new
Draytek Viogor 2800 DSL routers). This is hardware that I am very familiar
with as our Head Office and Branch Offices all have them. These will be
'dedicated' lines for my 30+ remote users. They will all have static IP
addresses so that that 3 groups of 10 users will access the SBS2003 server
using a different IP. Port forwarding will be configured on each router to
point RDP at the internal NIC of the SBS2003 server (192.168.0.100).

Does this sound feasible? Can anyone point out any potential problems with
the plan?

Thanks
Jon
