I use an unmanaged Dell 24 port GB and it works great...no problems...even
has a fan unlike many units.

It maybe a bit off topic, but since the solution I am looking for is for
an SBS 2003 customer, I thought I ask.
The SBS customer's 24-port switch died and we are looking for a
replacement. I was looking at the Catalyst 500 series Cisco switches, but
we are thinking Gigabit this time, but there, the price is into the $3-4
thousand range. It is tempting to go with a 24 port gigabit managed L2
Dell, Netgear switch, but I don't know how reliable and roboust they are
for a business. Does anyone have any recommendations or expereince with
these brands?
Thanks,
Attila
