Hi Mark,

Thanks

Thank you for posting here.

From your post, I understand you want rename the Mailbox that is displayed
in outlook. If I have misunderstood your concern, please feel free to let
me know.

Based on my experience, we can perform the following steps to achieve your
goal.
Step1 change the first name, last name, display name, and alias of this
user by using the Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator program

Step2 Rename the display name in current outlook profile. To do so:
1. Log on to the computer that the user's Outlook profile is located on.
Make sure that Outlook is not running.
2. Click the Start button, click Control Panel.
3. Double-click either Mail.
4. Click Show Profiles.
5. Click the profile that you use to access that mailbox.
6. Click Properties, click Email Accounts, and then select View or Change
existing e-mail accounts
7. Highlight Microsoft Exchange Server, click change.
8. Under Mailbox, type the new alias name.
9. Click Check Name.
10. The alias name is resolved to the new display name of the user.
11. Click Apply, and then click OK.

This procedure does not rename the profile. If multiple users use the
computer, the user must remember to select the correct profile
Hope this helps, if you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to
let me know.

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,
