Re: Group Membership - New Users

Yep - Creating it using the new user wizard and selecting the template.
The template has group memberships already assigned, but they do not
carry over to the new user.

Hello.

I could of swore that a few months ago when I created membership
templates on SBS2003 that when I created a new user using the
template, the group membership was automatically copied to the new
user.

It is not doing this anymore (if it ever did, I think it did!) - is
there any way to restore this functionality?

Thanks!

It should copy the groups. What do you have in the template properties, and
how are you creating the new user - with the wizard, and selecting the
correct template?
