I must admit it is unusual ~ This is the only company I do work for
that requires it, but when you understand the structure it makes sense.
Brief Outline :-
The company posts jobs on various websites using industry sector e-mail
addresses, the companies users who deal with this sector are then added
to the group e-mail address. As candidates apply the e-mail is
distributed to these members, but as I am sure you will appreciate
candidates come in different flavours ranging from someone trying to
get a job with no experience or qualifications through to people who
are spot on for the job.
Commision is paid to the user who places a candidate. With the current
system arguments arise as all the users fight for the best candidates.
This is where the round robin comes in as it offers (as best as
possible) a fairish distribution of good & bad candidates.
