Internally we've (some of the MVPs you see in this group) recently been having a discussion on this very topic
In my opinion, we may still be a ways off from full support for UPNP. That said, the biggest consideration is looking at products designed for business use as opposed to "consumer" grade routers
A word of caution. You should not be buying any router with wireless functionality
If you need wireless, this should be done with Access Points on your LAN

Hi guys,
I'm going to be building my first SBS 2003 server soon and I am wondering if
there seems to be any particular preference of firewalls/routers out there.
My internal network is currently protected by a Cisco PIX 501. Although I
can forward the ports on my PIX to the external NIC of my SBS box (with
ISA), I'm wondering which routers etc you more experienced guys are using
and why. Are there any benefits to using a UPnP device as opposed to
manually forwarding ports etc ? If so, can anyone recommend any UPnP DSL
(WAN port) and ethernet (WAN port) routers ? Many thanks.
Regards Colin.
