SBS 2003 R2 Release Date

Hi guys,

Long time reader, first time poster = )

I know R2 was delayed last month, however I'm wondering if another release date has been set? I'm in Australia, and the best information I can get locally is 'no idea' or 'coming soon'. I checked out HP and Dell web sites and they don't mention R2, so I'm guessing if the OEMs aren't offering it yet then I'm looking at October at the earliest, would this be accurate?

I have some clients who are wanting new systems installed by mid-September. If I can get an accurate release date then I might be able to convince them to wait, but as it stands, R2 might come out this month, next month, I just don't know.

Are you guys still doing new SBS 2003 SP1 deployments, or are you asking your clients to wait for R2?
