Assigning updates using WSUS

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hello

I have WSUS set up on a SBS 2003 box. I have had bitter experience
assigning updates to all computers within the LAN, i.e. on occassions
some of the PCs have gone down after an update has been installed.

I have decided to create two groups within WSUS 1) WSUSTEST - which
will contain 3 x computers which will receive updates and 2) WSUS MAIN
- which will include the rest of the PCs which will receive the updates
after the WSUSTEST group, thereby testing the updates prior to rolling
out to all the computers in the LAN.

My question is, how do I manage this in WSUS? I have populated the
groups using Group Policy. The problem I have is after installing
updates to the WSUSTEST group, how do I then go back and approve for
install those same updates for the WSUSMAIN group?

Thanks

.
