Many thanks Dave
I think that has fixed my problems. After I fixed the SSL issue using that
KB article, I could then view the public folders and delete the ones that
weren't being used / had errors.
Hopefully this will stop the event log errors.
Thanks again Dave.

I would try this KB for the SSL issue. Then go into ESM and open the PF's.
properties (under Folders at the bottom, not under First Storage Group).
You can try to delete the folders from the r-click menu. Failing that, on
the Permissions tab, click Client Permissions and make yourself and the
Administrator account Owners. Try r-click again, and failing that, try to
delete the folder yourself in Outlook.
You receive an SSL Certificate error message when you view public folders in
Exchange System Manager

Hi
I have a few problems which I think are all related:
I'm using SBS2003 premium, (I forklifted in an exchange 5.5 database
which
I think is whats causing me problems with Public Folders)
(Note - email works fine on the server)
In the server event log I get various errors similar to the following:
An error occurred while upgrading the ACL on folder [Public
Folders]/Shared
Calendar located on database "First Storage Group\Public Folder Store
(SBS2003)'. As we basically don't use Public Folders I was looking to
delete
them.
If on the server I go into:
Advanced Management
-> 'Company Name'
-> Folders
-> Public Folders
I get the following error message:
'The SSL certificate server name is incorrect'
ID no: c103b404
Exchange System Manager
Also:
On client machines in Outlook there are some public folders which can't be
opened, they display the message 'Unable to display the folder. The folder
cannot be opened because there is a configuration problem on the
server....'
I can't right click and delete this folders either due to permission
problems.
Any thoughts on how I can delete the public folders which I believe are
causing the event logs.
Thanks
