Hi,
Thank you for posting here.
According to you description, I understand one specific user of your domain
can not receive mails.
In order to get a cleat picture on this issue, please let me know the
following question.
Do you use pop3 connector to download email from your ISP?
Does the sender receive any Non-Delivery Report (NDR) at all since mail
cannot be sent successfully? If so, please forward the NDR to me directly
for further research: v-chacez@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If you using pop3 connector to download mail to this specific user, please
perform the following steps:
Does following event be logged in event viewer:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: POP3 Connector
Event Category: Delivery
Event ID: 1070
Description:
An attempt to relay e-mail to recipient <SMTPAddress> was made. The e-mail
could not be delivered because the recipient's e-mail domain name does not
match any local e-mail domains.
If this is your case, please refer to following article to troubleshoot
this issue:
Event 1070 is logged and e-mail messages are not delivered with the SBS
2003 Connector for POP3 Mailboxes
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=842293
Make sure disable all rules on outlook client. To do so:
Open outlook2003 on problematic clients, point Tools-Rules and Alerts,
click Option and export all rules to a file. Then remove all rules and
verify this issue.
If this is not your case, for further verification, please perform the
following tests.
Test 1:
Please log on another computer which doesn't have such issue before by
using his own domain user account who encountered the issue, configure
Outlook to access his own Exchange mailbox and then verify whether the
issue disappears. If the issue persists, the issue is much possibly caused
by Exchange Server Side. If the issue disappears, the issue may be caused
by Outlook Client Side.
Test 2:
Please try to reproduce the issue in the OWA (Outlook Web Access)? If he
encounters the same issue in OWA, it might be an Exchange Server side
issue. If the issue disappears in OWA, it should be caused by Outlook
Client side.
Please let me know the result. And if the issue is caused by Outlook Client
Side based on the results above, please continue with next steps.
Step 1: Create a new Profile
Note: A new profile is a new environment for us to use Outlook. To create a
new profile is only for a test to see if the problem is related to the
corrupt profile of Outlook. Creating new profile will not do any damage to
the old profile.
You can refer to the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB)
for more information:

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=829918
Please verify the issue and let me know the result. If the issue persists,
please continue with next step.
Step 2: Outlook Safe Mode
We can start Outlook with the "safe" switch to see if it works. Please
follow the steps below:
1. On the Start menu, click Run.
2. Input "Outlook.exe /safe" (without the quotation marks) and click OK.
3. Please perform a test to see if the problem still occurs.
Note: There is a space between Outlook and the forward slash (/).
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Chace Zhang (MSFT)

| Help !
|
| Having recovered from a hard disk failure at the weekend, and following
the
| restore of the data and exchange services I know have a problem where one
| email account does not seem to be recieving emails but can send them.
|
| All other accounts are functioning okay.
|
| The account in question is NOT exceeding the mailbox size, is set up just
as
| it was before the failure and seems okay in all things except the
| obvious....no emails arriving.
|
| Any help where I might look or what I might do would be welcome
|
| Thanks in advance
