I have received the following message when I used the
'connectcomputer' command. "The small business server network
configuration wizard has detected that this client computer is
already a member of a domain. If you want to save the user's settings
you must migrate these profiles before completing this wizard".
In Network Identification for this workstation, what does it say it's a
member of? A domain or a workgroup?
I did
not use AD on the 2000 server. Where can I get documentation for this
procedure. I already ignored this message in a previous migration and
could not see the original users 'My documents' folder and his
e-mails were not copied across into exchange server.
Well, I've never seen connectcomputer import from a PST myself. I've always
done it manually (*copy* items in; never ever import).
Re My Documents - just as a general tip, I'd use folder redirection to the
home directory, & roaming profiles.
