I am trying to push the setting, Automatically detect settings, for proxy to
all of my clients, and have tried what you mentioned below, and it does not
work. I have also tried pushing a coniguration URL,
http://FQDN:8080/array.dll?Get.Routing.Script, in this same GPO, and it
appears to work, but it also sets the dial-up connection to auto-dial!
We are running ISA 2004, any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi Leigh,.
Thank you for posting here.
The links will be added to the "Favorites" when a domain user logon to the
client computer automatically. This behavior is controlled by the logon
script.
To prevent this from being happened, please follow these steps:
1. On the Server, open C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business
Server\ClientSetup\Clients\Setup
2. Open the install.ins file by using Notepad.
3. Modify the URL section to delete or change the URL that will be added to
the Favorites.
For the proxy issue, will you please clarify the problem with more detail?
Do you mean that you want to enable the "Automatically detect settings"
feature in Internet Explorer? What do you mean that "they're not cooperate"?
You may also want to enable a Group Policy on the Server to force
"Automatically detect settings" feature. To do so:
1. Open GPMC.msc.
2. Create a new GPO.
3. Open it to Edit the GPO.
4. Navigate to User Configuration->Windows Settings->Internet Explorer
Maintenance->Connection.
5. In the right pane, double-click Automatic Browser Configuration and
enable the "Automatically detect configuration settings".
6. Run gpupdate on the server and the clients.
7. Logoff and logon from the clients.
I hope the above info helps and we look forward to your update.

Most of our staff do not need remote access and I would like to remove it
from the default favorites list whenever someone signs onto a computer.
ideas? Is it stored somewhere I haven't been able to find on the server?
Secondly, while I have computers setup to auto discover proxy settings
they're refusing to cooperate. ????? What obvious step am I missing?
Thanks,
Leigh
