Bryan, don't be afraid to do a full sBS2003 isntall 2 or 3 times. In fact,
plan for it, so you can learn before going live.
Also, it was not mentioned by Susan, but if you are migrating a current site
from SBS 20000 to SBS 2003, do yourself a favor , and check out Jeff
Middleton's Swing Migration at www.sbsmigration.com --- use it, and you will
come out a hero!

Hi Susan,
Its SBS 2003 Premium Edition and in fact was incorrectly ordered as
standard
edition and I purchased the premium upgrade. I am intending to migrate an
existing 30 user SBS 2000 network to a new server and will be using
exchange
and sql also.
I had some problems installing SBS2003, as the reset button is very close
to
the CD eject button and I rebooted the server while it was asking for CD 2
or
3 so I am not entirely sure the install is complete after continuing the
install and attempting to repair the missing admin tools. I would have
done
a fresh install but I don't have the raid drivers available if I boot from
the first SBS 2003 disk.
So is everything managed from Admin Tools Server Management? Or is
something
missing?
Thanks for any help you can give me,
Bryan

You bought the wrong book. SBS isn't Windows 2003.
You have SBS 2003 ...with three or four cdroms?

Hi all,
I'm setting up WSBS 2003 for the first time and learning from a book
about
Windows Server 2003. I am prepared to find some things not identical
or
limited between the book and WSBS 2003. The book mentions the
Configure Your
Server Wizard many times, but I don't have that in the Administrative
Tools
menu.
Is this normal for WSBS 2003, or is there something missing in my
install?
If so, can I get it back without a clean re installatoin?
Thanks,
Bryan
