Here is what I do not understand. Previous to me loging in as administrator
on the local machine we could log into the computer as user name, password,
domain. Why would this change?

:) Thanks for the prompt update..
- Well, if you are offsite, you will not be able to log into the domain (on a Laptop), unless you have a logon server with a GC of the same AD/ Domain.
- Try this, log into the local computer.
- Establish a VPN connection to the SBS Server (you are then virtually a part of the SBS Network, remotely).
- You should be able to access the shares on the Network, SBS Server / Share Folder and even Microsoft Outlook (Exchange Server on the SBS) for your emails.)
- And then try Synchronising your Mobile Device.
Should work fine . :) Please let us know the outcome !!

I am off site. I get the error when loging in with the user name, password,
and domain. I have tried loging into the vpn first then onto the machine
with no luck.
Does this answer your questions?
