RE: Exchange System Manager 2003 crashes

Hi,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand you can not launch Exchange
System Manager on your SBS server. If I have misunderstood your concern,
please feel free to let me know.

Based on my experience, I would like to provide you following action plan
to resolve this issue:

Action 1
=======
1. Run Cmd to open a command window on the SBS server. Switch to the SBS
2003 CD2, locat to \exchsrvr65 and then run "setup ".

2. Select "Install Exchange System Management Tools Only"

3. Once the installation is completed, install Exchange 2003 SP1.

4. And then, reinstall SBS 2003 SP1.

5. Reinstall exchange 2003 SP2

Does this issue persist after reinstall ESM?

Action 2
=======
Install the Exchange System Manager on another machine and then connect to
the server, does it still stop responding?

More info please refers to following MS Knowledge Base Article:

Please let me know the result at your earliest convenience. Should you have
any concerns, please feel free to let me know.

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Chace Zhang (MSFT)

| Hi,
| I have Microsoft Exchange 2003 with Windows Small Business Server 2003
on
| my company server. Since sometime now when i start Exchange System
Manager it

me
| if I want to send this to Microsoft. I read sometime back that Exchange
| System Manager crashes sometime with Small Business Server 2003 and there
was
| a patch available. But I tried searching all over now and am not able to
find
| any such posting. I also do not know which service pack I haev installed
| cause I cannot open the System Manager. But all email delivery works fine
| with exchange. Its just that the System Manager is not opening. Could
anyone
| please help me on this. Your help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks
