Here are the answers to your questions.

1. There are no related error messages in event log.
2. Yes, it occurs in domain admin account.
3. Yes, it occurs once I choose to log off or lock the server. The next time
I want to log on, the desktop goes blank, no shortcuts or icons are displayed.

This does not occur if I leave the Server logged on and allow it to lock
automatically.

4. Yes, this is an SBS 2003 Server.
