From the description, I understand the issue to be: you want to sync the
clock of your VOIP. If I have misunderstood your concerns, please do not
hesitate to let me know.

As I know, you can follow the KB article to configure SBS as an authority
Time server:

You can also try other time sources.

If the problem still persists, you may still need to contact the VOIP
Vendor.

| My supervisor is upset because the clock on his voip is not correct.
| He has a shoretel 560 and as far as I can figure (and the manual) there
| is no way to manually set the time. Speaking with our phone technician
| he says there is a way to sync the clock with an sntp. He also said

| with the server we have. I am running sbs 2003 with active directory

| clients from the server since there isn't too much I can do on the
| phone. Everything I have read talks about how windows will
| automatically sync with the server, but since this doesn't have windows
| (because it is a phone) what do I do? Step by step instructions or a
| KB would be greatly appreciated.
