Hello Crina.
I performed all of your instructions.
After entering the RWW in step 8, i viewed the certificate and the FQDN is
correct.
However, I still cannot Administer the company's web site or Monitor help
desk.
Thanks,
Tony

Hi Tony,.
Thanks for your update.
Currently, please try to rerun CEICW to publish companyweb:
1. On the SBS 2003 Server open the Server Management console. Go to
Standard Management\To Do List.
2. Click the "Connect to the Internet" link.
3. Choose not to change the connection type and click Next. On the Firewall
page, select "Enable firewall" and click Next.
4. On the "Services Configuration" page, select all the items and then
click Next.
5. On the "Web Services Configuration" page, make sure "Allow access to the
entire Web site from the Internet" is selected. If you select "Allow access
to only the following Web site services from the Internet", make sure
Windows SharePoint Services intranet site, OWA and RWW are selected. Click
Next.
6. On the "Web Server Certificate" page, choose to create a new Web server
certificate and then type the public FQDN or public IP of SBS.
7. Go through the remaining steps.
8. Then you can access OWA, RWW and companyweb through typing
https://FQDN/exchange or https://public IP/exchange, https://FQDN/remote
and https://FQDN:444 from internet.
After the steps, please click View Certificate and check if it is your FQDN.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hello Crina.
|
| Thanks for your help.
|
| In following your first step "Check if there is a certificate assigned on
| Companyweb", i did not need to change anything but when i got to step
| "1-4) Click View Certificate, is the certificate issued to your FQDN?", i
| discovered that the certificate name is "publishing.lakesideos.com".
This is
| different than waht we set up in CEICW as "mail.lakesideos.com".
|
| The other steps did not need to be done. Also, i did not use any of the
| information in the KB articles as did not think that applied to my
situation.
|
| I did these steps:
|
| 1. On the SBS server, go to http://localhost/remote, can you access
| Companyweb within RWW? Here iwas able to access the company website.
|
| 2. On the Internet client, can you access companyweb at https://<SBS FQDN
or
| Pubic IP address>:444? This did allow me to get past the page cannot be
| displayed.
|
| Thanks,
| Tony
