Re: Exch2K3 OWA & RWW "Loading..." issue

Hi,

Thank you for posting back. Sorry for the delayed response due to weekend.

I glad to hear that you have found the root cause. Your time is appreciated.

If you have any other questions or need more assistants, please feel free
to let me know. I look forward to working with you again in this forum.

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Chace Zhang (MSFT)

This newsgroup only focuses on SBS technical issues. If you have issues
regarding other Microsoft products, you'd better post in the corresponding
newsgroups so that they can be resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
You can locate the newsgroup here:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

When opening a new thread via the web interface, we recommend you check the
"Notify me of replies" box to receive e-mail notifications when there are
any updates in your thread. When responding to posts via your newsreader,
please "Reply to Group" so that others may learn and benefit from your

Microsoft engineers can only focus on one issue per thread. Although we
provide other information for your reference, we recommend you post
different incidents in different threads to keep the thread clean. In doing
so, it will ensure your issues are resolved in a timely manner.

| **UPDATE:
|
| Problem solved. The issue that was blocking access to OWA and RWW was
| the Group Policy Object setting that disables Internet Explorer Add-ons
| that are not explicitly allowed. The screenshot shows the full path of
| this setting:
|
| http://synacs.com/OWA+RWW_trblshtng-resolution-IE-addon-GPO-cr.jpg
|
| The setting is configurable in both Computer Settings and User
| Settings, and should be either disabled or Not Configured in order to
| allow for the use of RWW and OWA.
|
| After changing this value in the appropriate GPO, and then updating
| workstations via "GPUPDATE /FORCE", the problem disappeared from all
| applicable computers.
|
|
| Thanks again to Chace Zhang for your unyielding help via this
| newsgroup, and I now have a "Domain-wide" resolution to a frustrating
| problem.
