Sorry Dias I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. Obviously someone else
made a mistake in letting the drive space get so low. Since I assume this is
business critical your best bet may be a call to CSS and let them help
resolve the problem.

No it doesnt boot in safe mode either. I am a tech called in to solve this
issue, it was not my responsibilty to keep the server healthy and not let
the
disk get low on space. Is this a "what u should have done" newsgroup ?!

Will it boot into safe mode so you can delete enough to free up space
that
will allow it to boot normally and Exchange to start? Then get those
Exchange stores moved. The SBS monitoring should have warned you of low
disk
space so you should never have let it get down to only 5-10 MB free in
the
first place!

I didnt say what it does after the error message.

I can only press ok and once i do the server automatically restarts

Hello all,

I have SBS Prem. The c: disk had reached maximum capacity and i was
about
to
move the exchange database to a new disk which i bought.

Just before shutting down the server to install the new disk, the
information store dismounted and exchange features were not working. I
also
could not logon to the server locally (pass not recognized). I shut
the
server down manually.

Now it boots and just before the logon window appears i get the
following
message:

"isass.exe - system error" - the object cannot be found.

The server had about 5-10mb of free space only before this happened.
I am currently loading sbs on a a new disk again so i can connect the
c
drive and manually delete some files hoping this will help (SCSI Disks
and i
dont have a pc to connect them to therefor the the re-installation on
a
new
disk)

Does anyone have a solution for me or any comments if what i am doing
now
will even work. Taking big stress here, any comments welcomed.
thx
