SBS 2003 & imate K-JAM

Have a customer with one, the supplier gave up setting it up.

Currently it synchronises with a workstation, ideally it would talk to the
server directly via the internet.

Is there a guide somewhere to setting up & troubleshooting connection
problems? Are there firmware updates or something similar for these handheld
devices? One of its issues is that it doesn't allow you to enter a domain
name, its present onscreen as a field, but is always 'blued' out.

Will it need a certificate installed?
Does it matter that originally the server cert was
publishing.domainname.co.nz, and the current hostheader we are using is
server.domainname.co.nz ?
