Re: remote desktop connect to extra server?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

If it's been set up thru the 'set up server computers' in server management AND the extra server has RDP enabled in system properties | remote it should just work.

Always has for me...

you still need the Server/Workstation enabled for RDP you won't need 3389 opened in your firewall to get to it.

Would have thought GP would have taken care of this.

Thank you DC and Russ for your replies. . . .

I had already added the extra server via the method Russ describes. My
extra server does appear in my list of Servers to connect to in the
Remote Web Workplace connection
(https://<my-sbs-server-domain>/remote). However, unlike my sbs server
in that list, as well as all my client computers in the client list,
(all of which I can cannot to), I cannot connect to the extra server
via RWW.

I have not tried DC's suggstion to enable remote desktop on the extra
server (Right-click on My Computer, left-click on properties,
left-click on remote tab of System Properties
window and click in 'enable remote desktop'). Does this apply to
Remote Web Workplace as well, or only for Remote Desktop? I ask
because I only have the relevant ports open for RWW and not for RD.

Thank you,

Greg
