Hi JRamalho,
Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.
From your description, I understand the issue is that you received errormessage when you tried to restart or stop the IIS admin service. If I am
off base, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Before we go any further, please kindly help me collect the following
information to isolate the issue so that it can be resolved in more
efficient manner.
1. What is the exact error message you received when you attempted to
restart or stop the IIS service? Please capture a screen shot of the error
message and send to my working mailbox: v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
2. When you received the error message, please open the take manager and
click Process tab to capture a screen shot and send to me.
3. Please save the Application and System log files as .evt format and send
to my working mailbox: v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx for analyze.
Additionally please perform a clean boot on the server box to see if it
helps. A Clean Boot will allow us to isolate any device drivers or programs
that are loading at startup that may be causing a conflict with other
device drivers or programs that are installed in your computer.
1) Run MSCONFIG.EXE.
2) In the Services tab, click "Hide All Microsoft Services" and click
"Disable All".
3) In the Startup tab, click "Disable All". Click OK. (This will
temporarily prevent third-party programs from running automatically during
start-up.)
4) Restart the computer and check whether the problem still persists.
If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to
one application or service we have disabled. You can use the MSCONFIG tool
again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.
I appreciate your time. I am happy to be of assistance to you and look
forward to your reply.
Have a nice day!
Sincerely,
Jenny Wu

Hello,
I am having a major problem in my SBS 2003 SP1 IIS.
I cannot restart the IIS service(or stop) and shows a error stating that
there is no memory available, wich is not true because taskmanager shows 1
of free memory.
I have SBS configured with all features.
Any help regarding this case will be welcome.
JRamalho
