Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

It turns out that this dll came from an installation of Lexmark software for
a printer.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for posting here.

From your post, my understanding on this issue is: you get the following
error message about RUNDLL:
======================
Error in C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\LXCFtime.dll
Missing entry: RunDLLEntry
======================
If I am off base, please feel free to let me know.

LXCFtime.dll is not a DLL file of Microsoft. This is DLL file of a
spyware.
Based on my researching, this DLL file belongs to an application called
HijackThis.

Let us try the following steps about clean boot to solve this issue:

Clean Boot.
-----------------
a. Click Start, click Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks)
in
the Open box, and then click OK.
b. In the Startup tab, click the "Disable All" button.
c. In the Services tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" checkbox,
and then click the "Disable All" button.
d. Click OK and restart your computer.

Also, I suggest you remove this software from your computer to solve this
issue.

I hope the above information helps.

Have a nice day.

Best Regards,

Steven Zhu
