Hi,
Thanks for posting here.
It appears that you are dealing with multiple issues that will require
individual attention to ensure that we are not counter-productive in out
support efforts. A suggestion in this post would be to post these issues
separately so that contributors within this newsgroup who specialize in
certain feature will be able to provide the 'value add' to resolving these
issues.
It is important to us that we provide you with the best support possible
and by breaking down these issues separately we will be able to address
them appropriately and in a timely manner.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Here, I will focus on your first question.
Q1. If I am correct, then can you please guide us how to open this port and
permit these programs to communicate through Windows Firewall.
A1. Based on my experience, we may configure the Group Policy to open a
port on multiple computers. Please refer to the following steps to
configure the Group Policy.
1). Log on the Windows XP SP2 as a Domain Admins Group member.
2). Click Start, click Run, type mmc, and then click OK.
3). Click File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in, Click Add button, click to
select Group Policy, and then click Add.
4). Click Browse button, select the GPO which is applied to the computers
and then click OK. Click Finish, click Close, Click OK.
5). Navigate to Computer Configuration\Administrative
Templates\Network\Network Connections\Windows Firewall\Domain Profile.
6). Double-click the "Windows Firewall: Define Port Exceptions" setting,
click to Enable this setting, and then click the Show button to add the
port.

I hope the above info helps.
Have a nice day.
