The times on the computers are almost exactly the same already... I guess the
question that I was asking was how close do the times on the server and the
client have to be? Is it a matter hours, minutes, seconds, or milliseconds?

I by changing the DNS servers on the clients, the login times for those.
computers is much faster. I also added the SBS server's internal IP address
to the client computers' WINS server. I think this has also sped up login
times. I will keep monitoring the clients computers because enough time has
not been to say that the "kicking-off" wont continue. I will keep you posted.
Another thing that I have been noticing (or failed to notice before) is that
the clients very rarily, if ever, can connect to the servers NTP server.
Could time difference between the servers and computers cause my problems?
Thanks

Hi Heath,
Thanks for your update.
For one Nic, you need to configure on SBS server and client computer as
following:
IP: Fixed IP address
Gateway: your Hardware router IP
DNS: SBS NIC IP as the only entry
In the DNS console (dnsmgmt.msc), right click your ServerName and click
properties. In the Forwarders tab, your ISP DNS server IP should be
inputted there.
On the client workstation, please make sure the configuration:
IP: Assigned by DHCP on SBS or your hardware router
Gateway: hardware router
DNS: SBS INTERNAL NIC IP as the only entry
For checking the NIC, you may need to change a new to see how thing goes or
plunge it to other server to see how thing goes.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

| Actually, we have a harware router, so the SBS server only has 1 NIC. Its
| only job is to be the Domain Controller and host an active directory,
with
| shares, etc...
|
| Could that be the problem? Having a hardware router and a SBS server?
|
| Also, what kind of errors would I be looking for if the NIC was bad?
