Sorry for not posting the resolution of this issue. Unfortunately the
problem just went away. I determined that the emails were coming into
our system blank. I started by blocking the sending ip address because
they appeared to be coming in through 2 or 3 mail servers. After a week
or so they blank emails just went away.
I'm sorry I don't have any better answer for you.
