Re: One computer no longer connects through RWW

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Thanks for getting back to me.

Just to clarify. The person was using her home computer to connect to
her work desktop via RWW. Everything connected fine in the morning. She
left her connection on, I think it timed out. Afterwards I could not
connect to her work desktop from either my work or home computers using
RWW. I could however RDP onto her work desktop from the server so I
knew it was connected.

It seems however that the problem has corrected itself and we were able
to access her desktop through RWW this morning. I'm thinking that she
did something on her end that didn't properly log out and so the system
may have thought the computer was already being used. Maybe it cleared
itself after x number of hours. I tried using my user id and hers when
it wasn't working.

Either way, fingers crossed, it seems to be fixed. Thank you for
responding. I'll keep this in mind should it come up again.
