Hello Steven
Since I sent the message I have re-installed windows server sp1 and w sbs
sp1 and the rras wiz now runs.
Now I cannot view the companyweb site in my browser, and some clients cannot
log on and no-one can connect via remote desktop.
Please advise me what changes are still needed.
Thanks

Hi,.
Thanks for posting here.
From your post, my understanding on this issue is: you cannot run the
Remote Access Wizard. If I am off base, please feel free to let me know.
Based on my research in your rraslog.txt, I find the following error:
-------------------------------
Creating proxy configuration file returned OK
*** Running IExpress to build the package returned ERROR 80004005
*** ERROR: Cannot delete temp directory CMP96.tmp
Specifying error location (in CMAK) returned OK
*** CRRASCommit::CommitCMAK returned ERROR 80004005
*** CRRASCommit::CommitEx returned ERROR 80004005
--------------------------------
We could know it is a typical error that the SBS service pack 1 is not
installed.
Please understand that the SBS Service Pack 1 is different from the Windows
Server 2003 Service Pack 1. In other words, it contains Windows Server
Service Pack 1. The Service Pack 1 shown in the Computer General tab is
only the Windows Server Service Pack. To check if the SBS service Pack is
installed, please use the following steps.
Certainly, we could check if the Office 2003 SP1 is installed and if
KB885916.log exists in the C:\windows folder to determine if the SBS SP1 is
installed. However, I think the below method is most authority.
Setup.exe located at ?C:\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small
Business Server 2003? is the entrance for the SBS integrated setup. This
file has the most rights to tell what the SBS version is. Please right
click the file and click properties. In the Version, please compare the
information with following information.
Pre-SP1
Company: Microsoft Corporation
File Version: 5.2.2651.0 (bobcat(bobld).030910-1600)
Internal Name: Setup.exe
Language: English (United States)----------------- Most authority to tell
the language of the SBS
Original File Name: Setup.exe
Product Name: Microsoft? Windows? Small Business Server
Product Version: 5.2.2651.0
Post - SP1
Company: Microsoft Corporation
File Version: 5.2.2893.0 (bobcatsr1(bobld).050429-1656)
Internal Name: Setup.exe
Language: English (United States)? ?----------------- Most authority to
tell the language of the SBS
Original File Name: Setup.exe
Product Name: Microsoft? Windows? Small Business Server
Product Version: 5.2.2893.0
So, please download the SBS service pack 1 from the Microsoft website and
install it.
The detailed installation instruction
http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/0/f/e0fee8ce-768d-41c0-8871-9bc48e0
b3fc3/ToDownLoadFilesandReadInstructions.htm
For the total installation of the Windows Small Business Service Pack 1,
you may need to install the following 5 package separately
Windows Server?2003 Service Pack?1
Windows SharePoint Services?2.0 Service Pack?1
Exchange Server?2003 Service Pack?1
Windows?XP?SP2 for Client Deployment
Windows Small Business Server?2003 Service Pack?1
The file name of the real SBS SP1 is SBS2003-KB885918-SP1-X86-ENU.EXE
If you have any questions or concerns related to this issue, please let me
know.
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Have a nice day.
Best Regards,
