Connectcomputer procedure with a XP already in domain

I'm trying to use the connectcomputer procedure to connect a computer to a
Win2003 with SBS.
At the beginning of the procedure, I get a warning message telling me that
the PC is already client of another domain (it's true). It points me to a
not better specified resurse on the web-

Could someone point me to some documentation about how to migrate user
profiles from old to new domain? I would like to migrate common windows
settings.
