RE: VPN attempt gives error 733 at the client

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your update.

I have reviewed these network adapters and there are no suspicious. However
because you have changed the motherboard, it can really bring unexpected
issues. I recommend you contact CSS for better support for saving your time.

Due to the complexity of this issue, we are unable to assist with this
request in newsgroup. To save your time, you may need to contact CSS for
better support.

A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Product Support Services via
telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your
request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged
call. However, if you are simply requesting a hotfix be sent to you and no
other support then charges are usually refunded or waived.

To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.

If you are outside the US please see http://support.microsoft.com for
regional support phone numbers.

Thanks for your understanding!

Best regards,

Crina Li (MSFT)

| Crina,
|
| the first 2 steps I'd already tried but the hidden devices I hadn't.
|
| Normally I only have 2 items listed in Network Adapters. A 1394
controller
| (Disabled) and the network adapter.
| When I "show hidden" I get;
| Direct Parallel
| Wan Miniport (IP)
| Wan Miniport (L2TP)
| Wan Miniport (PPP0E)
| Wan Miniport (PPTP)
|
| are any of these suspicious?
