Have you tried running CHKDSK /F on the disk?

The first is that some files/directories on my SBS are not acccessible
from
the Administrator login on the console. The system declares that "Access
is
Denied. Make sure that the disk is not full or write protected." It is
neither full nor write protected. These are usually files/directories
that
are accessible by users. I am unable to take control of these
files/directories and as I am usually attempting to, delete, move or
rename
them.

The second is that I have one client computer that takes forever for its
user to logon. I am talking up to 30 minutes. I have tried to fix it
by
removing his profile and forcing the system to recreate it but that
doesn't
appear to have worked. I am, because of the previous problem to remove
his
profile information from the server, so I cannot be sure it isn't
something
corrupted in the downloaded profile information stored on the server.

Does anybody have any suggestions?
