No, the LAN is 10.0.0.x, and the other picks up its IP from the DSL

OK. Progress of sorts. I switched cables and discovered that what was
in the CEICW had switched also. I inferred that it was allowing only
Fixed IP NICs into the list. So, I put in 192.168.0.1 . That allowed
the wizard to proceed, but it then complained that that NIC was not in
the LAT, and I had to add it before it go further. (So, I built a LAT,
and it included all the private ranges.) Finally, I was ready to let it
rip, and discovered that I could not input a @ character in the user
name. Just to get it to move along, I skipped that, added passwords and
eventually it took off, said it was configuring everything, and completed
without errors. But I knew the E-mail could not be right.

Just to test the IP selection, I tried to get to Google. Not even a
flicker with the modem. I changed the IP to 192.168.0.2, and I have a
flickering modem, but it never brings back the page. I suspect the
problem is ISA. We will work on that next.

While trying to change the IP address of the DSL NIC, I discovered that
the key that would not let me enter a @-char, also would not let me enter
a 2, but the NUM pad would. Bummer! I suspect that the MSDN bread
crumbs have been collecting in the keyboard! Too bad the mice will not
eat them. Anyway, I will have to pry off the keycap and see if there is
an obstruction. Do you know how to enter an @ character any other way
than as a Shift-2?

Another question: I thought that the ISA LAT was not supposed to include
the external NIC. On the source SBS server in this migration, the LAT
does not include the External NIC. Why does the CEICW demand that it be
there? Should I remove it after the configuration is working?
