Have you actually installed SQL Server from the 'Premium Technologies' CD?

It sounds like the system is in a known state where, due to a hotfix, the
SQL Manager is loaded while only WMSDE/MSDE instances are running and the
instances are not registered to it. When you install SQL Server it will
register the default instance to the manager and the SQL console can be used
to register desirable WMSDE/MSDE instances.

I have set up a SBS 2003 Premium Server, the SQL Server Service Manager has
loaded but does not have a sever name in the SQL Server Service Manager
Server Dropdown or any sevices shown.

How do I install/setup the SQL server name in the SQL Server Service
Manager
