OWA "Some items can't be deleted........"

Running SBS 2003 with Trend Micro SMB suite.

Using OWA, the Administrator's mail box shows 32 message all with the
subject "Undeliverable:...". The reading pane cannot display the message and
gives an Http error 404. The messages cannot be deleted either one by one or
as a group. The error message is "Some items can't be deleted. They were
either moved, already deleted, or access was denied." I'm guessing that
Trend detected a virus or blocked Spam and has already moved the message
elsewhere, but some how OWA still thinks the message exists. The UCEarchive
folder also is failing to backup. The backup error logs report there are 62
*******************.eml files that are missing. I think this is all related.

How can I delete these messages, or is there a way to rebuild the
administrator's inbox?

TIA
BillP
