Help - Server seems to have developed serious issues

Hi,
Our Small Business Server appears to not want to talk to any of the other
computers in the Active Directory. When logging on the clients manage to
appear to log on but error messages in their event logs showing that they
have they have not been able to auto-enroll the certicates from the server
or that they have been able to contact the server - group policies are not
being implemented as a result.
The local clients are unable to view the network computers or contact
network resources - more bizzarely, the server cannot view the client
computers under the domain (including itself). However, DNS and TCP/IP
services appear to be functioning over the network - e.g. the server can
ping the clients and vice-versa.
Does anyone have any ideas what is going on or what tools I ought to be
using to find the souce of the problem?
thanks,
Brian
.
