Just to be clear, are you thinking about one of more of the drives in the
array?

If you think installing patches and security updates is expensive, try not
installing them...

Downloaded latest driver from HP. Found the F6 option, ran the installer
again.
Got right up to the final re-boot, and the system never came back.
One thing of note, the installer wanted to make sure I wanted to use the
driver I did since it claimed to have a newer one already than what I was
installing. I downloaded mine directly from the HP website.
Anymore ideas?

You are correct. He needs to get that smart array driver in during the
install or he will never get the OS to run. Been there done that one...

You should probably be checking with HP/Compaq regarding a Server 2003
driver for the Smart Array. When SBS is first installing there is a
screen that says "Press F6 to install additional drivers" that's when
you would add the smart array driver

Nope, I just followed all of the default screens. I was never asked
to supply
anthing. Other than verifying the CD Key, the timezone, and giving it
a name
and password, I was never asked for anything at all.
Is there like a Smart Arrary CD I should be using or something?
