Hi Athyne,
Thanks for your update.
I have checked the log and also find no useful information.
As I know, the wizard finishes the following tasks:
1. Create computer account.
2. IP Address Configuration by using DHCP.
From current situation, you can try to do a clean boot on SBS as following:
1. Click Start, click Run, and then in the Open box, type "MSCONFIG"
(without the quotation marks). Click OK.
2. In the System Configuration Utility (MSConfig) window, click to select
the Selective Startup button.
3. Click to clear the check mark from the "Load startup items" below
Selective Startup.
4. Click the Services tab, click to check the "Hide All Microsoft Services"
box, and remove all the check marks from the remained Non-Microsoft
Services. Please note that the Exchange services could be marked as
non-Microsoft. Please do not disable those services.
5. Click OK to close the MSConfig window. Click Yes when you are asked to
restart your computer in order to enable the changes.
6. After restarting, please check whether this issue will reoccur.
If it still occurs, you can try to add the server manually as following:
1. Configure static IP address for the server.
2. Right click My Computer and select Properties.
3. Click Computer Name tab and then click Change.
4. Check Domain and then type the SBS domain name.
5. Click OK.
However it may not finish all the function the wizard has done. If you want
to assure it can work normally, to save your time, we recommend you contact
CSS for better support.
A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Product Support Services via
telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your
request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged
call. However, if you are simply requesting a hotfix be sent to you and no
other support then charges are usually refunded or waived.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;PHONENUMBERS
If you are outside the US please see http://support.microsoft.com for
regional support phone numbers.
Thanks for your time and understanding!
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Crina Li-
|
| I am sending you the new server log, it has a lot less information in
| it and I think it should be helpful to you.
|
| I have a special request as well, if you could get back to me as soon
| as possible regarding this it would be much appreciated as we have now
| reached a critical deadline in getting this set up.
|
| If there is a way to repair the SBS interface, please instruct as to
| how or again, if we could get a listing of how to accomplish this
| manually from you folks at Microsoft so we don't miss anything the
| wizard does that would be great.
|
| I truly appreciate all your help regarding this matter and am e-mailing
| you the log file right now, I actually did this several times so you'll
| have comparison information.
|
| Thank you once again!
