Hi Wopster,

Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.

From the description, I understand the issue to be: The old non-exist
computers will display in the list when you try to connect to client
computer by using ''Connect to my computer at work'' feature from RWW. If
I
have misunderstood your concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know.

As I know, when domain users connect to the RWW site and select to connect
to the desktop, system will automatically check the domain client
computers
from Active Directory, list all available client computers and add them to
the computer list.

If you have removed these computers through the following steps, they
should not be displayed in the RWW:

1. Open Server Management and then expand Standard Management.
2. Click Client Computers and then right click these computers and select
Remove Computer from Network in right pane.
3. Open Active Directory Users and Computer and then expand server.local |
MyBusiness | Computers.
4. Click SBSComputers and then check if these computers exist.

If you have done so, please try to clear the IE cache on SBS and client
computer, clear DNS, IIS cache on SBS and check if the issue disappears:

I. Clear IE cache:

1. Quit all Internet Explorer windows. Double-click Internet Options in
Control Panel.
2. Click the "General" tab, click "Clear History" in the History area, and
then click OK in the dialog box that appears.
3. In the "Temporary Internet Files" area, click "Delete Files" button,
check "Delete all offline content" and then click OK in the dialog box
that
appears.
4. In the "Temporary Internet Files" area, click "Settings", and then
click
"View Objects" in the dialog box that appears. This will open the
Downloaded Program Files folder.
5. Delete all the object files.
6. Click Delete Cookies.

II. Clear polluted DNS entry.

1. Secure the DNS cache against pollution

"Secure cache against pollution" is an option under the Advanced tab in
properties of the DNS server in the DNS MMC.

2. Clear the DNS cache

In command line on SBS server: Ipconfig /flushdns

3. Restart the DNS service

III. Clear the cached, compressed copy of the affected files on the SBS
server:

1. Clear the IIS server files:

*. Go to your %windows%\IIS Temporary Compressed Files directory *. Select
all of the content in this directory and delete it.

2. Go to a command prompt, type "iisreset".

Hope it helps and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Crina Li (MSFT)

removing
