Have you tried shutting down the printer and bringing it back up to re-establish coms after the outage?
Is the printer being shared via the server or via one of the workstations?

We endured bad weather this morning and our server had to be restarted
several times. This was done because when staff logged onto their computers,
they had connectivity issues. The server is up and running, staff are able
to connect and go about their daily tasks. THe issue now is a shared
printer. This printer is shared by 3 employees - 2 employees are unable to
print to the shared printer. The server is showing that specific printer
under Server Management but when I go to the Add Printer Wizard and choose
that particular printer to add it gives me the following error: Windows
cannot connect to the printer. Either the printer name was typed
incorrectly, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server.
Can someone please help?
