You will have to build a temp server with the same domain and org name as
the original sbs box. Then put the mdbdata folder in it and mount it.
But I would look on his WS first for .pst files or even .ost if they did not
get wipped. My guess is he had this stuff in .pst or you would have got his
stuff with the export to pst with all subfolders

Hi everyone,
Got aproblem here. I needed to reinstall sbs 2003 and decided to backup
everyones emails to pst. Before wiping out the server , I created Acronics
image of the server just in case I need to retrieve anything. After I
finished the new install , figured out that one user is missing some if
the
folders from his backed up email. Now I do have that image of the old
seerver
which i can map an d access but cannot boot from it ( comes up with
account
database errors and reboots). Finally the question:
How can I restore the mailbox for that user from the old disk?
Thanx in advance
Alex
