Re: cannot connect using vpn connection when on the domain

Thanks Chris.

I have the firewall disabled while on the network. The problem is only
when we're on the domain. When we're off the domain there are no
problems at all. Oh, and I can configure a VPN that works on the
server so that narrows it down to the clients.

We don't have SBS Preimum .

I cannot connect to our external web server using the vpn connection
when i'm on the domain but when i'm off the domain it connects without
any problem. I have a feeling it's in the firewall gpo but not sure.

Windows SBS 2003 sp1
client xp pro sp2

Do you have SBS Premium with ISA? If so, have you set it up to allow VPN
traffic out?
Have you looked at the XP Pro firewall?
