DEAR ALL,my
My problem is the license service in SBS2003. I have enough number of CALS
and HK Microsoft Engineer check my server by using remote desktop and they
also agree that (CASE NO: 772865).
But when I try to establish VPN connection, the event log shows that
"Event Type: Warning
Event Source: RemoteAccess
Event Category: None
Event ID: 20097
Date: 6/3/2006
Time: 11:09:19 AM
User: N/A
Computer: HKPDC
Description:
A user was unable to connect on port VPN7-100. No more connections can be
made to this remote computer because the computer has exceeded its client
license limit."
The first HK Microsoft low profile Engineer taught me to TURN OFF LICENSE
SERVICE IN SBS2003 for solving this problem. But the BIG GIANT - MICROSOFT
SET THE LICENSE SERVICE WILL TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY IN SBS2003. THAT MEANS
LICENSE SERVICE CANNOT BE DISABLED IN SBS2003. Very Ridiculous! (Sorry for
atitude because I think it violate user privacy and interference our
operation).
I SENT THE QUESTION TO HK MICROSOFT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE BUT THEY CANNOT
HELP ME! CASE NO:772865
"Jack Chan,Support Engineer,Global Technical Support Center (GTSC - HK),
Contact Phone: (852) 2388 9600 ( 2-3-4 ),Email: hkpersup@xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
SUCH PROFESSIONAL HK MICROSOFT SERVICE STILL CANNOT SOLVE THIS ISSUE!
WHY MICROSOFT IS SO XXXX TO USE SUCH BUGGY PROGRAM TO CHECK THE NUMBER OF
CLIENT ACCESS LICENSES?
IF HK ENGINEER CANNOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM, I WILL ASK THE LAWYER ABOUT HOW TO
ACCUSE MICROSOFT IN THIS CASE!
ANYONE CAN HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM PEACEFULLY? THANK YOU!
