Cris,
Since the original poster was not clear of his intentions for the
second install, I looked up past posting. "Analysis" of the few past
postings indicated that he/she may be running a freshly installed SBS.
The most likely use for a second full installation of SBS is for
testing. I had three installs of the 180-day trial before I went live.
I see many old-timers and/or company reps jump to licensing issues
before addressing the problem. In the future, I'll chime in more
politely so as not to ruffle feathers.
Thank you for your clarification on the licensing issues. As always,
expert advice is appreciated.
violate the EULA? The same SBS install (vol.license w/SA), same serialFrom a licensing standpoint, would a swing migration (sbsmigration.com)
# operating at the same time during the migration and up until
decommissioning of the original server.

He may infact be able to have a cold spare, depending, but then, it wouldn't be "functional" would it?
He cannot legally install his copy of SBS for Virtual environments, this would require another license, unless as you suggest he does this for his cold spare, if eligible.
I don't suggest to be a mind reader, but after answering posts in this newsgroup for 8 years now, you get a pretty good sense of what people are looking to do by the way they word their questions. It was clear when he said "install my copy of windows SBS on two machines without havin any functional issues" that he was looking to have two machines up and running at the same time with the same copy of software.
And so I stand by the fact that while short, my was correct and on point to his question.
And I don't recall ever having accused the OP of being a crook, but wanted to make sure the OP understood that running the same copy on two machines on the same network would violate the basic tenants of the EULA
