Re: Dos connection to SBS2K3 share

I have already 'aiuthenticated' with net logon so
net use z: \server\share
should let me in.

I'm convinced it is something to do with DC security policies / secured comms

so a domain admin user account does not let you in?
what if you "unhide" the share?

And the syntax you are using appears incorrect

Try net use driveletter: \\computer_name\share_name /u:domain_name\user_name

Because I am using a boot floppy to image the PC's

And hidden so that users don't just stumble upon it, but everyone has access
to prove that it isn't a permissions problem.

I have, after doing more research, discovered this is a common problem to do
with the way a 2003 DC authenticates clients.
Supposedly settings have to be changed under Domain controller security
policy.
I would just rather get some info from the experts before proceeding.

Thanks for any help
