Hi David,
my system, and those of my client's, are showing similar activity to
Mal's (I maybe should say that he's are showing similar activity to mine,
but that's a whole other story).
All affected systems I am aware of are set to only download English
updates.
I was talking to some guys who run the AU internet backbone today. This
f@#%up in WSUS has severely impacted all internet access in AU. Terabytes of
unrequired data are being pulled from MS. MS should look at their WSUS IIS
server logs.

Mal,
Is your server pulling multiple languages? Looking at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=cb6c71ea-d649-47ff-9176-e7cac58fd4bc&displaylang=en
It looks like the SQL 2005 SP1 is 252.7 MB - 909.4 MB depending on
selected components, so I'm wondering why you'd be seeing over 6gig?

Hope that helps,
David Copeland

Look out for SQL2005 SP1. It seems to be about 6.7Gb. Check download
limits & HDD space before approving this one.
