RE: Companyweb page error. HELP?

Hi,

Thank you for posting here.

Thank you for your post.

SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) or Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) are
stored in SQL database. Therefore, the normal virus cannot access them at
the file system level.

Based on my research, we can try the following steps to troubleshoot the
issue.

The issue may happen when there is third party tool installed on Exchange
Server, such as Antivirus/Firewall/Antispam, which keeps running in the
background. More info here:

Per my experience, please temporarily uninstall all the firewall or
anti-virus programs such as McAfee, Zone Alarm, Norton programs including
Norton Internet Security, Norton System Works, and Norton Anti-Virus etc.
Reboot your computer and then test the situation.

For detailed information regarding the antivirus feature, please search for
"Configuring Antivirus Protection" in the WSS Administrator's Guide at the
following link:

I hope the information above helps. If you need further assistance on this
issue, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Chace Zhang (MSFT)
