You will get errors on these pages if the default security settings in IE
get changed
Does the backup page load in server managment?

OK, half of problem solved.
Under the IIS Propertied ISAPI tab for companyweb, I noticed the
shrptflt.dll was pointing to c:\inetpub\sbsflt\shrptflt.dll, but under the
default web site it was d:\sbsflt\shrptflt.dll. Made the changed under
companyweb and now it's working, but Monitoring and Reporting still has
the
same error.
